Knowing where the best seats are help you find a great Gillette Stadium seat view. The best seats in the 100s sections of Gillette Stadium are near the 50-yard line. These are sections 109 and 110 behind the Patriots bench and sections 131 and 132 on the visitor's bench.

Stadium gates for Patriots home games open about two hours prior to kickoff, so early tailgaters really do have the best advantage. The 30 minutes immediately prior to kickoff is the busiest period for stadium entry, so plan on heading to your seat before then.

Want a beer? That will be $11-14, depending on your choice. As for food, you'll be forking over $8 for a burger, $10 for pizza and $5 for a hot dog. It's a minor price increase since the last time we checked in on the concession prices at Gillette.

Very few seats at Gillette Stadium offer shade or cover. At least partial coverage can be found in Sections 102 and 107 in rows 34 and above. And in sections CL6 and 204 in rows 22 and above.

If you're looking for a seat in the shade, you'll find it on the west (visitor) side of the field. Look for a seat in sections 125-138, 223-238 or 323-240. If you're seeking sun, pick something on the exact opposite side of the field, like sections 101-115, 201-215 or 301-315.

If possible, get seats in the Club Level. The outdoor seats are nicely padded and it gives you access to the indoor area where there are bars, tables, and plenty of TVs so you won't miss any of the action.
