Martin committed to TCU last week after official visits with Arizona St., Cal, and the Horned Frogs. PRZ CA’s #5-LB in the 2025 class presents massive upside with the elite speed, athleticism, and explosiveness he brings off the edge as an EDGE/OLB. He has imposing length at 6’3″/215, an explosive vertical to create tips/knockdowns, burst off the ball, and the closing speed to track the ball down from anywhere on the field. Martin is a gifted talent with the potential to develop into a disruptive force at the next level.

Jacobowitz announced his commitment to Duke after his official visit this past weekend. The 6’8”/300 OL out of Carlsbad is a massive presence at RT that shot up San Diego’s OL ranks after his strong junior season. He possesses the natural size/strength to move defenders off the ball and the footwork and mobility to pick up blocks in space. Jacobowitz chose the Blue Devils over other offers from San Diego St., Dartmouth, and San Jose St.

Thomas- the county’s top 2025 OL prospect- took an official visit to Boise St. this past weekend. The 6’5″/300 LT will be a four-year starter for La Jolla in the fall with tremendous upside in his combination of size, skill, physicality, and athleticism. He possesses the hands, length, and power to control defenders in the run game, moves extremely well, and has played virtually every OL position in his three years as a starter. Thomas has trips scheduled to San Diego St. and UCLA in the coming weeks.
Thank you @BroncoSportsFB for having me up for a official visit! Had so much fun! @CoachCollins46 @Coach_TKeane pic.twitter.com/XR98AbK86s

Dupuy took his first official visit to San Jose St. over the weekend and added an offer from Boise St. a few days later. The 6’5″/265 DL has been a massive offseason riser picking up 11 D-I offers over the past two months, including 8 new offers this month. He’s a strong, athletic DE at 6’5″/265 that showed power, lateral mobility, and focused technique as a junior. Next up for Dupuy is a visit with hometown SDSU this week.

Chase Deniz

Deniz’s stock is rapidly ascending after generating his first D-I offers from NAU, SDSU, and Colorado St. over the past few weeks. The 6’7″/280 OL out of Cathedral Catholic is a long, athletic LT that showed potential to develop into a dominant pass protector as a sophom*ore for Scripps Ranch. He moves his feet well, makes effective use of his hands/reach, and shows strong leg drive through the whistle. Deniz should continue to climb San Diego’s OL ranks with a strong junior season in the fall.
After a great conversation with @BillyBestOL I was blessed to receive my third D1 offer from Colorado State University!@CSUFootball @MittenChad @GregBiggins @BrandonHuffman @Donsfootball pic.twitter.com/azelnhAUuD

Herrera’s been the county’s biggest stock riser over the past month since adding his first 8 D-I offers, including three Big-10 offers from UCLA, Iowa, and Minnesota. The Bishop’s QB established himself as one of the top arm talents in San Diego with his productive sophom*ore season throwing for over 1,600 yards and 21 TDs. He’s a smooth operator from the pocket, is an effective improvisor, and can make throws to every part of the field. Expect Herrera to continue collecting D-I offers over the next few seasons.
